OUR FEES

We practice what we preach.  Honesty and full disclosure is mandatory on your bankruptcy petition just like honesty and full disclosure is mandatory in our fee description to you.  You will have to pay an attorney fee, a court filing fee, and a fee to obtain two credit counseling certificates.  That’s it!  There are no hidden charges.

How much will you need to file?  Not much.

We will work with each and every one of you on an individual basis.  To file a chapter 13, all you need to pay out of your own pocket is $500.

To file a chapter 7, the attorney fee is $1,500.00.  However, you can make payments in order to get started.  We will set up a payment plan in a way that works best for you. Additionally, we often provide discounts to qualified indivudials. Each case is evaluated for a discount which must be completed in person during a free office consultation.

If you are in a situation that requires you to file bankruptcy, call us.  We’re honest about what we can do for you, what chapter will be in YOUR best interest, and we have no hidden fees.  What you see is exactly what you’ll pay.  All phone calls; and, advice over the phone is included!  You can call us anytime and not worry about being charged another fee even if that means ten times a day.  All office visits with us are also included.

Don’t be fooled by the attorney that charges substantially less!  In most cases, they are not telling you about the court filing fees or credit counseling fees.  Typically they will add fees for meeting with you, and they will add fees every time they speak to you on the phone.  Bankruptcy is stressful for you and questions constantly come up.  If you’re charged for every time you call an attorney with a question that could rack up a huge bill.

We will provide you with life after bankruptcy assistance to assure your credit gets restored as soon as possible and to ensure you that we’ll be here to answer your questions, even after your petition has been filed.

How does this all break down?  It’s simple.

The attorney fee to file a chapter 7 will cost you $1,500.00.  The attorney fee to file a chapter 13 will cost you $500.00.

The court filing fee for a chapter 7 is $306.00.  The court filing fee for a chapter 13 is $274.  We will submit an application to the court asking permission for you to pay your filing fee in installments or to have it waived.

The fee to obtain your first counseling certificate will cost you $35.00.  The fee to obtain your second certificate will cost you $26.00.  It’s possible to have both of these fees waived if you meet the income requirements.  All you have to do is ask.
